Distribution
The subspecies
Crambus perlella pseudorostellus has been described from Fusio in the
high Alps of Switzerland. The distribution of this subspecies is
unclear and is given as "intermediate altitudes of the Alps: 1300-1500"
by Bleszynski (1965), which could include parts of the Bavarian Alps.
The nominate subspecies occurs in the holarctic region, but the exact
distribution is unclear, especially because the large number of other
subspecies that replace the nominate form in many places. In Germany C.
p. perlella is recorded from all Bundesländer.
