Identification



Distribution
Widely distributed along the western coast of the Baltic Sea and the Oresund. Also distributed along the southern North Sea and European Atlantic coasts (Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK and Ireland) and in the Mediterranean Sea. Reports also exist from the coasts of South Africa, China, and the Sea of Okhotsk.
