Distribution
|
There are few records of this species from the German North Sea and Baltic
Sea coast in winter and few records of vagrant specimens also exist for
inland lakes in Germany. Occurs in north Europe and Russia and breeds
on Kolguev Island and Novaya Zemlya. The species also occurs in northern
Asia, Canada and the northern USA.
