Distribution
|
Occurs irregulary on the German North Sea and Baltic Sea coast in fall
and winter. Records of vagrant specimens also exist for inland lakes in
Germany. Occurs in north Europe where it is also breeding. The species
also occurs in northern Asia, Canada and the northern USA.
