Release 5 Variable Window Command Definitions

The following table contains simple definitions of the commands found with the Release 5 Variable Window.

File
	Save Pane Writes this window's contents to a file or pipes this information to a program.
	Close Similar Closes this and all similar Variable Windows.
	Close Closes this Variable Window.
	Exit Exits from TotalView.
Edit
	Undo Undoes the effect of the current editing change.
	Cut Copies the current selection to the clipboard and then deletes it.
	Copy Copies the current selection to the clipboard.
	Paste Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the cursor's location.
	Delete Deletes the current selection without copying it to the clipboard.
	Find Searches for text in the current page.
	Find Again Executes the search defined by the previous Find command starting at the current cursor position.
View
	Dive Dives (replaces) the contents of this Variable Window with information about the selected element.
	Dive Anew Creates a new Variable Window containing information about the selected element.
	Undive Changes the window's display to what it was before the last dive.
	Sort > None Redisplays an array in its unsorted, original order.
	Sort > Ascending Sorts the displayed elements into ascending order.
	Sort > Descending Sorts the displayed elements into descending order.
	Laminate > None Turns off lamination.
	Laminate > Process Shows a variable's values as they are set in all processes.
	Laminate > Thread Shows a variable's values as they are set in all threads.
Tools
	Watchpoint Sets a watchpoint at the variable's memory location.
	Visualize Displays information about the current array within the TotalView Visualizer. Statistics Shows statistical information about the current array.
Window
	Update Updates the current Variable Window.
	Update All Updates the display of all open windows.
	Duplicate Creates another Variable Window that is identical to the current window.
	Duplicate Base Creates another Variable Window that is identical to the current window except that it does not have a dive stack.
	Root Displays (uncovers) the Root Window.
