C. L. Koch, 1843 (see note below)Agroeca haglundi Thorell, 1871 Note: allegedly the type specimens of Philoica linotina are not conspecific with the present species and belong to Agroeca proxima. If true, Philoica linotina is not to be placed in the synonymy of the present species, but rather would be a senior name for Agelena proxima. I have currently no further information on this taxonomic problem.
