Misumena bicolor Simon, 1875

The taxon Misumena personata is frequently synonymized with the present species, but is actually a synonym of Misumena vatia (see Breitling et al. 2016).

The status of Misumena bicolor as a good species has been questioned repeatedly. Breitling et al. 2016 discuss the status and conclude that it is very likely a good species and I fully agree with this conclusion.
