The nominal taxon flavomaculata has been misplaced in Lasiambia or
Fiebrigella for a long time. The taxon britannicus has been described as
a new species of Gaurax, but has later been discovered to be identical
with the misplaced flavomaculata (see
Ismay and Schulten 2006)
