Distribution
Apparently a rare species in Germany. Reported from Bayern (Von der Dunk 2003) and Berlin (Flügel 2010). In Niedersachsen two records so far (Stuke 2003; Stuke et al. 2020).
Biology
Often occurs near water (e.g. streams, ponds) in forests.
