Distribution
The species is known from Russia, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Germany, thus suggesting a wide distribution in Europe and Asia.
The first record of this species in Germany dates from 1966, and
further material has been collected in 1970, but the material has only
recently been examined and published (
Peris-Felipo et al. 2016). No current records of this species are known from Germany.
Biology
The German records have been collected in May and August, suggesting a
flight period from late spring to late summer; it is also possible that
two generations per year may be involved.
