Note: the taxon plautus differs only in size from ligatorius. Riedel (2014) reports on a female specimen that is in size between the two taxa and thus cannot be placed in either taxon, but rather suggests that all taxa belong to the same species that has a large body size range. He therefore synonymizes the two taxa and I follow this notion here.
