Dineura parcivalvis and Dineura testaceipes are often treated as synonyms, but
Liston et al. (2019)
regard both as valid species based on differences in larval host
plant and penis valve morphology, and because a phylogenetic sequence
analysis of partial sequences of COI and TPI genes place the two taxa in
separate clades. I follow this notion here.
