Distribution
|
Central Asia, eastern Europe and eastern Central Europe. In Germany, only finds in the Allgäu Alps (Bayern) (Guggemoos et al. 2018).

Biology
|
The
larva mines in leaves of the grass Carex sempervirens. The species
prefers mountainous areas and has mainly been found at elevations above
1000 m.
