Note: a specimen of the present species from Regensburg has previously been
misidentified as "Oxyptilus marginellus", thus incorrectly suggesting that Capperia marginella also occurs in
Germany (see summary in Adamczewski 1951). In fact, Capperia marginella is endemic to Sicily and all records from elsewhere are misidentifications.
