year of "1910". Indeed, Schilles paper is included in the volume of the
Sprawozdanie Komisyi Fizyograficznej "for the year 1910", but the volume
has actually been published in 1911.
Identification
Body length: Females measure 1,6 mm to almost 2 mm, males are smaller, usually around 1,2 mm.
Distribution
Widely distributed in Central and southern Europe.
Biology
Host plant: mainly Juniperus communis (common juniper), but in southern
Europe also other species of the genus Juniperus. The imagines eclose in
early spring.
