Identification
Body length: Females measure 1.8 mm to almost 2.3 mm, males are smaller, from 1.2 to 1.6 mm.
Distribution
Widely distributed in the western palaearctic region.
Biology
Host plant: broad plant spectrum, but mainly species from the plant family Brassicaceae. The imagines have also been collected from cherry flowers (Prunus avium) (Uzun et al. 2015).
