Distribution
Recorded from the Mediterranean and from the Atlantic coasts of UK, Ireland, and France. All reports of this species from Germany are believed to be misidentifications of Cyathura carinata, and no confirmed records of the present species exist for Germany. Thus, any find of Anthura or Cyathura species in Germany should be carefully checked for its identity.
