If you are using the SUNpro 5.0 C++ compiler, mangling is not yet supported. (Demangling is supported.) TotalView mangles names when you type in certain kinds of information such as type casts in the Variable Window (for example, vector<int>[10]) or an overloaded function specification in the Find function of file... dialog box; for example, foo(int &). Support for the SUNpro 5.0 C++ compiler is planned for a future TotalView release.
TotalView does not support Forte 6.0 C++.
TotalView does not support debugging 64-bit applications on the SunOS 5 platform.
Sun's MPI implementation is not supported.
Due to bugs in the generation of debugging information in the initial release of the Sun WorkShop 5.0 FORTRAN 77 and Fortran 90 compilers, you must apply several patches to your compiler. See Sun WorkShop 5.0 Compiler Patch Procedures within the Patching document.
The Sun WorkShop 5.0 Fortran 90 compiler does not generate debug information for Fortran 90 modules. When using this compiler, TotalView cannot display the contents of Fortran 90 modules. Sun has submitted Bug Id 428200 to address this problem.
You may have to patch your Portland Group HPF 2.4 compiler runtime as described in the section titled Portland Group HPF 2.4 Compiler Patch Procedures within the Patching document
