During the conference a special counter will be set up in the lobby of the Conference Center Teistungenburg. Open for registration from Sunday, 4 October 1998, 15.00 hours onwards.

Registration will be made by sending both the attached Participant Registration Form and the Registration Fee (Deadline 31 August 1998). Registration forms can also be submitted with the form below or send by e-mail (hboehne@gwdg.de ). In any case please send a copy of your bank draft showing the payment of the registration fees by fax: +49 551 39-3408.

As there is a planned limit of 120 participants, early registration is advisable. You will get an acceptance letter and an invoice.

Registration Fee

The registration fee will include congress fees, abstract book, set of proceedings, accommodation in single-bed-room for three nights, meals and coffee breaks, from Sunday evening to Wednesday noon, as well as entrance fee for the ‘Grenzlandmuseum’. Accommodation includes entrance fees for a daily two-hour-visit of the swimming pool and saunas.

Not included are drinks (restaurant, bar, mini-bar), telephone calls, faxes etc., and the use of the squash court or fitness centre. They are on the delegates’ own account and have to be paid for at the cashier of the Conference Center.

Persons participating at the Conference, and sharing a double occupancy room with another participant, are entitled for the reduced registration fees: DM 745,00 and DM 835,00 respectively.

Accompanying persons, not participating at the Congress, have to pay/day DM 54,00 (for double occupancy), DM 89,00 for a single room, or DM 143,00 for a double room, all including breakfast and a two-hour-visit of the swimming pool complex. DM 54,00 are charged for lunch and dinner per day. Please include this price in your registration fee payment and mark it on the registration form.

We reserve the right to accommodate delegates in neighbouring hotels of the same class if necessary. A shuttle bus will be available. (Access to the swimming pool/sauna is free.)

Bus transfer

Bus transfer from and to Goettingen railway station is DM 30,00 per person. Please pay together with your registration fee and mark the registration form.

Remittance of Registration Fee

A copy of the deposit slip should be faxed to the Congress secretary together with the registration form (if not already submitted with the form below). Participants have to pay their own bank charges. Advance payment by credit cards is not possible in Germany.

Those participants who are awarded an EC TMR sponsorship grant, do not need to pay the registration fee. At Teistungen they will be reimbursed for their transport cost when presenting the respective documents.

Cancellation

If the Congress secretary receives a written notice of cancellation by July 15, 1998, the paid registration fee will be refunded completely (minus bank charges of DM 50,00), from
16 July until 31 August 1998, refund will be reduced by 30% service charge. No cancellations will be accepted or refunds made after 1 September 1998, but substitute delegates will be accepted.

VAT Number

Invitation letter

For those wishing to attend the Conference, a formal invitation letter will be issued on request. Such an invitation letter is meant only to help participants to obtain funds, to expedite their travel arangement and is not a commitment by the Organizing Committee to provide any financial support.

Registration Certificate

A registration certificate will be forwarded after the secretary has accepted the registration application form and has received the registration fee.

Attendance Certificate

On Wednesday 7 October 1998 attendance certificates will be issues on request to all registered delegates.

Further information

Additional registration or abstract forms may be received from the Congress secretary or taken out of internet.

The services of the internet may be used for mailing abstracts and registration forms. Detailed further information concerning the Congress will be mailed to registered participants before the meeting. The final programme and the abstract book will be provided at the registration desk. The final programme may be found in the internet as well.

Citizens from certain countries may require visas for Germany. Delegates should enquire at their local travel agents.

Registration Procedure

In order to register you can download the registration form as a Word for Windows 6.0 File. The filled in form should then be send by mail or fax to the conference secretariat.
