The species has been tentatively transferred
to the genus Dactylotula by Junnilainen &
Nupponen (2010).

Distribution
Mainly in northern Europe. Recorded from
coastal Netherlands and east to the Baltic
countries. It is also recorded from the French
Alps, Poland, Germany, and Hungary. In Germany
recorded from Schleswig-Holstein and coastal
Niedersachsen. Older records also exist from
coastal Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
