This species has previously been listed for Bayern based on two 19th century reports from Passau and Regensburg. Haslberger and Segerer (2016) doubt these records and remove the species from the German check-list (and thus also from the German check-list). I do not follow this notion: the present species is a southern European species that also occurs in the southern portions of Central Europe (Austria, Switzerland). I think that it is quite possible that the species also occurred in southern Germany in the 19th century, but is extinct in this area today. I do not agree with Haslberger and Segerer (2016) that the two reports from southern Bayern can simply be dismissed as erroneous identifications.
