Distribution
Occurs in Europe (without the south) and there are scattered records from western Asia. A rare species in Germany.
Fueldner (2000)
reports a few specimens collected in southern Niedersachsen between
1997 and 1999, where the species was not recorded since 1958.
Biology
The species prefers heath habitats.
