No information has been entered yet.
Widely distributed along with the occurrence of its host bird species
(see list below) and has therefore been recorded from diverse locations
in all oceans of the world. Not recorded from Germany yet, but two of
its host bird species (Hydrobates pelagicus and Oceanodroma leucorhoa)
occur frequently at the North Sea and less frequently also along the
Baltic Sea coast and further inland; thus the species might have been
overlooked so far.
This species has a wide spectrum of host bird species including Hydrobates pelagicus, Oceanodroma leucorhoa, Oceanodroma
tethys, Oceanodroma castro, Oceanodroma monteiroi, Oceanites oceanicus,
Oceanites gracilis, Fregetta grallaria, Fregetta tropica.
